Show NOTICE OF BOND ELECTION THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF MILLARD COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT, MILLARD COUNTY, UTAH PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY CIVEN that a special bond election will be held in Millard County School District, Millard County, State of Utah, on the 7th day of October, 1980, at which election there shall be submitted to the qualified, registered voters residing within said district, the following question, Shall the Board of Education of Millard County School District, Millard County, Stale of Utah, be authorized to issue and sell bonds of the board in the amount of J7, 000, 000 to mature serially in not more than twenty (20) years from their respective date or dates, for the purpose of raising money for purchasing school sites, for building or purchasing schoolhouses houses and supplying the same with furniture and necessary apparatus, and for improving school property under the charge of the Board of Education, including the completion of the Millard High School academic building, and depending on the needs of the district, the sufficiency of the proceeds of said bonds, and the availability of sources of funds other than proceeds of said bonds, the construction of a middle school in Fillmore, Utah, and the corstt cction of an elementary school in the west side area of Millard County? t: The polling places for said election shall be the polling places in the following election districts established for said election by the Board of Education. Electors are advised to vote at the polling place for the election district in which they reside. Glenn, Stephen creator and director of the Family Development Institute in Washington, D.C., will speak at a Brigham Young University workshop on the single parent family, September 19 to 20. The clubs are reminding everyone to put dogs and kids on a leash or in vehicles for safety. This is getting to be so family oriented, even grandmas are showing up in force. Almost every race these days has a food sales trailer, and other accommodations for the big crowds. For $5 a rider could enter the sportsman class, which covers one loop and doesnt give trophies, but is less stressful and helps a rider know without lots of expensive equipment if racing is for him (or her!) Most events have a class like this, so check it out. We are having our desert race on October 11 in this county, and will classes-th- at have all big might be your chance! Local racers had a heyday at trophy presentation, we had about 10 out of 20 club members entered win them. The polls at each polling place shall be opened at the hour of 7:00 Oclock A.M. and will be kept open until and will be closed at the hour of 8:00 oclock P.M. There is to be no special registration of voters for such election and the official register of voters last made or revised shall constitute the register for such election, except that the County Clerk of Millard County will register at his office during regular office hours, except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, and except during the period immediately preceding the bond election, any person who on the day of the election will be a qualified elector and will register such person as provided by law. The County Clerk will make available or will cause the registration agents to make, available at each of the above described polling places a registration list or copy thereof listing all registered electors entitled to use such polling place.
