Tins year we expect each family to enter wholeheartedly into the Cleanup program First the family together should clean up their own yards, then the families on each street should join together each evening and get their streets all neat and clean. If each family joins with the neighbors in mowing the weeds picking up any trash which has been carelessly thrown in the streets, and making sure your street is the cleanest street in town, Fillmore is bound to win one of the prices, but it takes every family to accomplish this goal as one family on a street may ruin the whole street Monday night is generally ' from July 25 to August 1 (which is Family Night the deadline for entering the scrap book), we would very much appreciate having each evening "Family Night and have every family working on their street. We are real proud of the many people who have donated trees and shrubs, as well as money to develop such an outstanding park Recently the children of Frank and Katherine Warner planted trees in honor of their parents, and the members of the family living here are caring for them What greater tribute can they pay to their parents7 The family of Roy and Mary A. Dame have paid for the construction of a monument using the old standstone rocks used in the did Ado(iq.,Meeting House, which served as a church and general meeting house for many years when Fillmore was first settled.
