Guests were Carl and Helen Warner, Delta; Lloyd and Mary Warner, Floyd and Faun Utley, Salt Lake; and Bertha and Art Hogan, Ogden. Mary Lynn Rowley spent the long weekend at home from UtechProvo-Orem- . grandchildren. were planned for outdoors but were held in the respective gymnasiums because of the stormy weather. Brooke Hansen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Wilson, graduated Pth from Olympus High School. She was a studentbody officer-Histori- an. Lofvall, a foreign exchange student from Sweden, who is making her home with the Wilsons, also was a member of the graduating class. Lisa Feight, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Feight. was graduated Magna Cum Laude from Westminster College in Behavioral Sciences. She was a member of Alpha Chi Honor Society. She will pursue graduate studies at the University n Rolf, Mary Louise and two children Mag-nusso- of Granger spent overnight Friday with sister, Gwen Rowley, and family. Due to the rain, the Junior High Track Meet was cancelled this year. But to give the students a fair chance, they were allowed to try to break the old records during their P.E. period on May 15, 1980. Jay set his record breaking run of 24.9 seconds that day to give future track members a new goal to shoot for. Jay is the son of Kenneth and Annette Day of Fillmore. He came from Las Vegas this year determined to have a third win and cart home the 4'j foot tall trophy which has been with the race since the start. We were all hoping for a local rider. Don had his chance, and stayed with Jack for the lead until the middle of the second loop. Don went down with mechanical failure, and Jack went down with the same about two miles further on. Kris Morgan from Utah, Goshen. led until the last ten miles when he lost the lead by 8 seconds at the checkered flag. First overall went to Bob Balentine from Idaho.
