Show Medical Staff Surgeon Lawrence E. was Stevens, M.D., named the 1980 LDS staff Hospital medical president during the hospital's annual meeting held February 21, 980 at Hotel Utah, announces David B. Wirthlin, hospital administrator. Dr. Stevens succeeds Dr. Hal H. Bourne in the staff position and will head the 287 physicians and 15 dentists who serve as members of the hospital's medical staff. The new president is also the field director of the LDS Hospital Visiting Instructor Program and is a member of several regional and national medical and surgical societies. 1 Governor Scott M.
