Show COUNTY COMMISSION MINUTES July 2. 1979 Present: Harold W, Stewart, Chairman. Lem Lovell, Leigh Maxfield, Eldon Commissioners, A. Eliason, County Attorney. Marlene A. Whicker, Clerk. The following proceedings were had: Mcrvin Williams presented signatures of citizens who are protesting proposed zoning ordinances nos. 89, 90 and 91. Mr. Williams proposed a citizens committee to meet with the zoning committee. The Commissioners assured Mr. Williams that a public hearing would be held before the ordinances in question were adopted by the County. Alan Nielson expressed the support of Lynndyl Town on the matter of County Planning and their appreciation of the work the planner is doing. Citizens meeting to protest the boundaries of the East. Millard Recreation District were: Fred Nielson, co Nielson, Alan S. Nielson. Phil Nielson, Dr. Clark Cox. Kenneth L. Gordon Nielson. BradNielson, Melvin shaw. Junior Robison, and Glade Johnson. Melvin Bradshaw met Be-va- n CETA to protest the use of a private road by the ConThe tinental Lime Co. Commissioners read a letter from the Bureau of Land Management concerning the road and felt much more information was needed before any Mr. action was taken. Bradshaw is to be kept informed of activities concerning the area. Mr. Woodrow Burnham of the State Road Commission met to get input on an access road North of toward Scipio, going Dam Yuba Recreation Area. Some citizens of Scipio met with the State representatives in another room to further resolve any problems. Mr. Barnard Murphey presented a resume of his experience in fire fighting and to apply for a position on the fire fighting program and to offer his help on training or in any other position that he might be needed. Beth Jim Bushnell, Crosland. and Patsy Robison met to request the Commissioners to open the budget for the East Millard Extension Service in the amount of This amount $6565.00. is the amount that has been reimbursed to the county through funds. Virginia Jenkins presented plats on the Fillmore Farms Subdivision. Attorney Eliason required time to review the plats to see if they conform and blend with the Recorders plats. Tony Deardcn met to inquire about county help getting the area around the Fillmore Fire House, Mr. Dcarden and County Road Supervisor Eugene Young were to assess the needs of the fire department. County Mary Day, Treasurer, presented a request for permission to hold a sale of all excess equipment in the Courthouse. The commission approved the plan and a date will be set later. The County Gerk was instructed to publish the change of date for the next meeting, which was to be held on July 18. After a short discussion it was decided that Mr. Krause falls within the City policy which states a license is not necessary if the business is operated less than 20 hours per week.
