Show Kanosll Ka pci's The gathering of the family of Owen and Melba Staples began Mon. 21 as Melba and Owen stopped at Alt and Larraines on their way north. They stayed overnight at Alt and Larraines that night and then proceeded north to Mark and Bettys. Wed. the night gathering began in earnest as Jim and Rhea Middleton arrived at Provo with their son, John, to stay with daughter, Mary Jan. Janet and Raymond Evans and four sons, Victor, Terry, Mark, and Joey, arrived at Milts. These two families drove from Mesa, Arizona. DeVere and Wed. stayed night at the home of Merideans mother, Nada, and then drove on to Clearfield the next morning. Jamie and husband, Bill, and three children joined them there. Alt and Lorraine stayed at their sons, Steve and Diane, home Wed. night, joined by Denise and husband, Boyd, son Ryan and Meri-dea- n daughter, Vickie. Milton hosted the gathering at Clearfield, where he is in the Bishopric. Dave and Janet, of American Fork, arrived Thanksgiving morning with the lovely Paul and family. Clarissa Davis, from Cedar City, and Donna and Ken Benson and their entire families also from arrived, Cedar City. Mark and Betty and nine children joined Kathy and Bob with their four children, Bobs lovely mother and son, Robert, wife, Patti, and little dau- ghter. Rubin and Renan Stevens arrived with their two daughters, Sonja, husband Bob, and three children, Melba Ann, husband Larry, and little son. e All joined Milt, and seven children at Clearfield. Milt had the chapel and recreation hall and kitchen facilities Lyn-nett- arranged for. Every- one came fasting. A very inspirational fast and testimony was held, meeting which lasted a total of 7'i hours. Conducted by Milt, under the direction of Patriarch Owen. Many old wounds were healed, washed away by an abundance of tears, forgiveness, and blessings given. A total of 70 were there for a truly spiritual and Thankswonderful giving. On Oct. 20th Mr. and Mrs. Steve Stott and Wulffenstcin Jessie drove to St. George to attend the missionary farewell of Ted Fullerton, who is a brother to and Stott Martha of Jessie. grandson Proud parents of the new missionary arc: Lois and Walter Fullerton. As the proconsisted of gram numbers from family members, Steve and Martha participated with musical talent. by Dathel Whitaker This meeting was very spiritual and touched the hearts of all who attended, especially Grandmother Fullerton; Ted being her first grandson to receive a mission call. Teds and parents grandmother were also at the Salt Lake airport to see him off on Nov. 17th for the Calif. Oakland mission. -- Dr. Steve spent time with Kimball recent- his parents, Hope and Orville; brother Monte; and sister Patti and family. Dr. Kimball does extensive traveling by air as a Plant Scientist, doing research for the Monsanto Company. Orville and Monte met Steve at the Salt Lake Airport. He accompanied them to Kanosh for visiting and friends, family after which they drove him back to Salt Lake where he boarded a plane for his return home to Selah, in the State of Washington. A recent business trip took him to Florida where he attended one of his companys conventions. The Ron Boren family have returned home following a ten day trip which took them into the states of Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. They report having had an enjoyable time in spite of much rain and snow which they traveled through. The family enjoyed their Thanksgiving with dinner Rons mother in Idaho. Lester and Mildred Call their enjoyed week, Thanksgiving from Tuesday to Friday, with a daughter and family in Logan. Monday, Nov. 28th, Lester will be admitted into the Utah Valley Hospital for surgery. President Lloyd George, wife Leola, their daughter, Janet husband, Finlinson, and four children were guests of JoAnn and Red and two Ed children in Albuquerque for Thanksgiving dinner. Joining the Bishop Ray George family for Thanksgiving dinner were parents of their foster son, Duane Tsosie, from Sawmill, Arizona. occasion A special took place at the Kanosh Chapel Sat. evening. Milo and Cleown Watts enjoyed their Thanksgiving week in California sunny visiting family and friends in Victorville, Riverside, and Corona.
