Show Prisoner dies f i James Raymondo, 29, Marysvale. died when the Millard County Jail in Fillmore burned Sunday night. Millard County Sheriff Bryant Crosland said Raymondo had been incarcerated in the jail at 8:30 p.m. Sunday evening on an assault and battery charge from a complaint signed by his wife. Sue. Raymondo was alone in the jail at the time the fire started at 9:20 p.m. Thorpe Fillmore City Robison, an Police Officer, was driving his pridown Main Street vate pick-uwhen he noticed the fire and turned in the alarm. He rushed to the jail and pulled Raymondo out, but he w as dead at the scene. Damage to the jail is extensive. The wooden linen closet inside the jail was completely destroyed and the roof badly damaged. The body was taken to the State Medical Examiner in Salt Lake City for an autopsy, results of which are pending. The State Arson Team from the State Fire Marshall's office was in Fillmore Tuesday morning to investigate the fire and determine the cause.
