Mitchell, and Lloyd Kesler received a good rating. The various contests which FFA members compete in during the year are very beneficial and an important part of the educational program in Vocational Agriculture excellent Members of the Millard Eagle FFA Chapter entered teams in five of the State FFA judging contests held May 10 and 11 on the campus of Utah State University, Logan. Utah. Nearly every chapter in the state entered teams in one or more of the eight contests sponsored by the Utah Association of the Future Farmers of America. Team members from the local chapter were accompanied by the Chapter Advisor and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. - Robert A. Nielson. Fishing Season Opens The opening of the general fishing season Saturday could best be described as a wet one with fishing success rated only as fair. According to Conservation Officer Brent Olson, Many of the fishermen had caught three or four fish, but few had limited out on the opening day. The inclement weather contributed greatly to the low success rate. It is ironical that the lack of moisture caused the moving up of the opening day and three days of rain almost washed out the opening weekend."
