Show Alice Louise Stevens Alice Louise Stevens. 76. died May 30. 1976, in the Fillmore Hospital following a long illness. She was born in Holden. Oct. 18. 1899 to Orson R. and Elmeda Stringham Johnson. She married Orvin E. Stevens, June 4. 1924. in the Salt Lake Temple. Member of the LDS Church, she served as president of the Ward Relief Society. Ward Primary and various other organizations. Survivors include one son and two daughters. Mrs. Fred. (Julia) Warner. Fillmore: Kathleen, Holden; Mont J.. China Lake, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; five great grandchil- dren; one brother and three sisters. Mark S.. Salt Dog problem continues Dogs running at large are still causing problems in Fillmore in spite of recent ordinance adopted by the City. This matter was discussed in the last city council meeting held May 19. 1976. It was decided thai the City will hire a dog catcher to be paid a fee for each dog he impounds. The dog pound will be made secure to prevent owners from removing impounded animals or dogs escaping from the enclosure.
