The Zion National Park master plan addresses such issues as wilderness areas, fire managements, transportation systems and other activities. It also includes a discussion of the proposal to end overnight lodging accommodations in the park. TWA Services, Inc., contracted to operate overnight lodgings in the park through the year 1975, and to provide other visitor services through the year 1983. Utah State officials have asked that the lodging accommodations be extended until the Issue is more fully explored and publicly reviewed. t |
