With Federal funding four officers were hired whose specialty would be to concentrate on the above problems. In Millard County Mr. Ron .Mosher has. been working on many of these unsolved crimes along with new ones as they are committed and reported. Mr. Mosher for the present is making his home in Delta, Utah. Presently the narcotics problem In this area remains about the same with some Increase In the Millard Countv area, nw of the goals of the four countv special deputies is to make about two felonv cases for sale of narcotics during the next year. Crime prevention will also play a major role with these new officers who will carry on some public education activities. . The four new officers all have special training In felony work and have recently completed a reiresner course with the Salt Lake Sheriff; Department. The total cost for these projects is approximately $33,50'J of which the local support is $1,676 and state support $1,675. The project is expected to continue during the next two years.
