Show I Daughters All Away KIMBALLS HOME From SOCIAL NEWS NAUVOO MISSION and LaVoy Elaine Kimball returned Tuesday, Jan. from 30, 1973 Nauvoo, Illinois, where they have served as missionaries for the Churh of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints, for tkJ past eighteen months. LaVoy served as Counselor In the Mission Presidency and spent considerable time as a guide in the new million dollar Visitors Center. Elaine was the secretary and for Nauvoo Restoration, Inc., and also served as a guide in the New Center. The are excited about the restoration that is taking place at Nauvoo and are grateful for the opportunity that they have had to sene the Church in thj National Historic Spot. They report that people visit the restored City of old Nauvoo from all over our country and many foreign lands, and that more than 200.000 people isited the Center last year. Some of the most interesting of the homes that have been restored are the Joseph Smith's Mansion House and The Old Homestead, the Brigham Young Home, the Heber C Kim bail home, Wilford Woodruff and John Taylor homos, the Times and Seasons Newspaper office, The Seventies Hall, Lucy Mack Smith and Jonathon Browning homes and Gun Shop. Fred and Vie Watts of Kan-os- h are serving In Nauvoo as missionaries and the Kimballs report that they are making a great contribution to this Important project.
