Mrs. Thelma Evans, the new county nurse met with the group and told of the need tn the county for a health program to train women to go to the homes or the elderly and give them health care so they would be able to stay tn their homes longer. Mrs. Evans offered to teach a class through eommunty schools to train women to do this work. Before coming to Millard county Mrs. Evans worked In nursing homes for the aged.
