With brief but appropriate ceremonies at 8 p.m. In the Tabernacle, 100,000 lights will be turned on and bathe Temple Square In tranquil splendor as a traditional remtruler of Jesus, "the light and the life of the world." As the lights go on outside, veteran musical director Armont Wlllardsen will give the downbeat as some 5,000 high school singers, the Brigham Young University Symphonic Orchestra and powerful Tabernacle Organ join in the fourth annual Youth parochial schools along the Wasatch Front, will fill the Tabernacle leaving little If any space for parents and friends who usually crowd the square. Gordon has worked In conjunction with law enforcement agencies In Millard County for some years and at this time has served as Marshall In Meadow. Bogh of Delta, UL, who recently retired from the Fillmore D'strlct, Bureau of Land Management was presented the Depart mentsCom-mendab- le Service Award In recognition of 33 years of dedicated service to the United States government. District Manager Warren Brough made the presentation at the meeting of the District Ad visory Board last Wednesday. The Commendable Service Award is accompanied by an appropriate certificate algned by the Director, Bureau of Land Management; an engraved medal, and a lapel pin.
