Muss Roberts, anl Mr. Robison. Part of the program's citpuiqiose is to develop good izenship and prepare the student to vote. Monday anl Tuesday are spent in a large group lecture. Wednesday, Thursday and Fri lay, the students are divided into three groups, one to each teacher. Group 1 debates the topics ef Amor. can History. Group 2 discuses pertinent writings of American History. Group 3 utilizes audiovisual aids such ;us films, film strips, tapes, records, etc. Each group rotates each of the .three days. Thus program usis d.fferent approaches which will give a greater understanding of American llustory to the stu lents. Salt lake City Commissioner E. J. Carn succeeded Timothy Moran, Spanish Fork mayor as president. Nine mayors and one commissioner were named to die league's board of directors.
