Show f Scipio Happenings SCIPIO CELEBRATES JULY 24th in Big Way The 24th of July Celebration was very successful. The program held in the Cultural hall was celled to order at 10 a.m. , M. C. Hie Richard H. Colors were posted by Scouts: Wendell McRcynolds, Robert Monroe and Gilbert Berry. Invocation was by Chaplain Memmott. Miss Andrea Robins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Robins was Miss Utah. She gave a fine talk and a Tribue to the Utah Pioneers. Her attendants were four children all dressed In yellow - Christine Quambcrg, Elizabeth Monroe, Thayne and Kurt is Robins. Other program numbers: Duet by Susan and Joann Memmott, accompanied by Eileen Thompson Solo by Anna Mae Quambcrg who accompinied herself. Tribute to tlie Pioneers by Bishop Mont B. Wasden who has not missed a July 24th for at least 23 years, Pruce & Mary Wasden; Reece at Joyce Meme mott. Bountiful; Jack and Peterson, Kearns; Garth & Deann Sorensen, Roosevelt, Mr. and Mrs. Duane Sorensen, SLC; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Carter. Kearns. They will enjoy visiting relatives and friends here and in Fountain Green with his folks, the Gayle Rasmussens. Paul, Merla and son Jasm will be leaving July 28 to return to California where Paul will be stationed with the US at Airport Mr. and Mrs. Burtis Quamberg were In Salt Lake Thursday to pick up their son War- ren at the Airport.
