The Timpooneke trail also is morelush with plantlife but has fewer large, cascading waterfalls. Both trails have plenty of water crossing the hiker’s path, at least until the Emerald Lake area. After the Utah Valley overlook, however, water is noneritent and a canteen is a lifesar With fewer hikerson the trail at one time the hike now offers morepossibilities to observe the wildlife than when thousands madethe treck in matter of hours. Small, ant somelarger, furry creatures dart across the trail, and even at you if startled, then into their ground dwellings.
