AMERICAN FORK COMMUNITY LIBRARY The cultural center of American Fork {s this $120,000 public library constructed and dedicated this past year, another symbol of progress in American Fork. The spacious brick building houses more than 24,000 volumes, plus a periodicals file and teaching aids. The contemporary architecture is complemented by the attractive decorative scheme of the well planned interior. The library was built on a matching funds basis wiih 50% of funds raised by public contributions and city funds and 50% from Federal funds. There was no bonding program in connection with the project. The new structure replaces a small Carnegie library which has served the community over 4¢ years.
