Show Firemen Schedule Golf Tournament The Salt Lake Tribune. Thursday, July 21. Up, Up and Away Hie third annual Firefighters Got! Tournament sponsored by the West Jordan Firefighters Association wiU be hed Sunday noon at the Glenmoor Village Paper Planes Soar Into the Wild Blue Yonder Making their way through the unpredictable currents of the Beach Boys Good Vibrations and old familiar tunes from the Beatles, more than ino paper airplanes glided, zoomed and performed aeronautical stunts through the air Friday at the second annual paper airplane contest held at White City Park, 930 Onyx Lane. 9300 S. 4090 Wes4. Men and women from throughout the county are invited to the event which will include a two-ma- n scramble. Partners will be selected out of a hat, green, according to fireman Dan Ivie. Husband and wife or family teems are also permitted. Mr. Ivie said each partner will hit and drive and continue through the course, taking the best of two shots. Trophies will be awarded for first, second, third and last places. Entrance fee is $10 per person The fee covers the cost for the event with proceeds going to the West Jordan Firefighters Association.
