Show The new variety of wheat of fabulous fabu-lous productiveness, said to have originated or-iginated in Alaska and to have been propagated in Idaho, as described in the last issue of the "Farmer", is the newest fake to be perpetrated upon a patient farming public. We regret that through an oversight the story should have received any recognition whatever iby this journal. A wheat that will withstand hail and frost and yield at least 200 bushels bush-els per acre would certainly be a bonanza. bo-nanza. However, how intelligent men could be made to believe such rot as is going the rounds of the press concerning the new "Alaska" wheat is a mystery. The farmers of Utah will find the varieties tried out by their -experiment station good enough for them. We hope any of our readers did not take the article, "A Miiacle ,'n Wheat," appearing in our last issue',' sorimHy.
