He was there for two years before coaching at Mountain View High for three years. Born in Brigham City, Mr. Facer graduated from high school and then went to Utah State University. At the advent of World War II, he joined the U. S. Coast Guard and served until January of She came to Utah from Texas having taught there for 25 years. Mrs. Finley received her degree from West Texas University. She did other work at Midwestern University, Weber State, and 1946. In 1946 he returned to USU, and then graduated in 1948. His first teaching position was coach and physical education teacher at Wayne High School in Bicknell, Mr. Facer started teaching at North Davis in 1956. He has coached baseball and basketball, and has beat teaching all social studies. Mr. Facer now lives in Roy, Utah, with his wife and son.
