The last week in September marked 40 years of service to Clearfield and its surrounding communities. At the first meeting Joseph Knight was Charge de Affairs and a delightful evening was enjoyed with the laches in long dresses and the men in dress ties! Honored guests included Mrs. - Edith Steed, widow of the first president of the club, Walter W. Steed, Jr., W. Jean Ambrose New Utah-Idah- o Kiwanis Governor for 1979-8and 11 of the 17 remaining charter members of the service club. Displayed at the banquet hall in the Country Gardens Cafe, where the event was held, were scrapbooks and photos of 40 years of activities and service. Farley, Jr. from General Manager to President of The Colotrym Company, a division of Futura Industries. Colotrym is an aluminum extrusion and fabrication DANIEL E. FARLEY company located in Clearfield, Utah. Farley joined Colotrym in 1972 as Controller and was promoted in 1976 to Plant Manager. He became General Manager in 1978. Prior to his employment with Colotrym, Farley spend 12 years in the accounting field with major Continental, Frontier, and Alaska Airlines. He is a of North graduate airlines, including Central College, Naperville, Illinois with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Farley and his wife, Marilyn, live In Ogden, Utah.
