A track meet was held on Oct. 16 at Roy High, which was held to determine the best runners and field athletes at Sand Ridge. honor Last years students, with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, went on a field trip to the University of Utah on Oct. 17. They were taken on a guided tour of the Museum of Natural History. They then ate lunch at the Union Building in the cafeteria and then heard a discussion about the U. of Us Honors program. The students were encouraged to atted the U. of U. after graduation from high school. Wednesday, Oct. 18, the band classes went to Weber I hear the Marine Band perform. The students had an enjoyable experience there. Thursday, Oct. 19, Sand Ridge played South Ogden Junior High at South. Both teams were undefeated with records until Sand Ridge lost the contest with the score of .
