Junior Hyrum Festival was held in the Hyrum First ward relief society room with all girls in formal dress. A beautiful lace table cloth covered the table with a bouquet of different colored roses, crystal candle holders and jink candles. There were 21 girls and their mothers, two class leaders, young ladies presidency of the ward and two stake members were present. A fine program was presented under the direction of class leaders, Mrs. Relia Kellett and Mrs. Lynn Baxter. The opening song, Loves Old Sweet Song, was sung by both girls and mothers. Prayer ' was offered by Devon Smith. Gloria Jorgensen and Edris Larsen sang a duet, Junior and Roses. Rose talk was given by Gladys Jorgensen. A quar tet, "Let the Rest of the World Go By, was sung by Marva Olsen, Joan Nielsen, Ida Rose Hall, .and Dorothea Baxter. The Rose Bouquet was presented to' the Mutual president, Mrs. Oneith Atkinson, by Joanne Kellett. Mrs. Atkinson presented each mother with the rose her daughter had selected for the bouquet. The girls were given Rose folders by Mrs. Lynn Baxter as an achievement award sent out by the general board. The parting song: was sung by the Junior girls, with prayer by Gayle Smith.
