Courier Angus Don Liljenquist, grandson of the late Pa friar h and Mrs. O. m Liljenquist of Hyrum, was nijmed winner of the Utah Centennial Commission Play Contest Jmd.i received first prize check of $(100Q for his three-ac- t play Deseret". The award was made by Postmaster I. A. Smoot, chairman of the Centennial Arts Division. The Judges were favorably impressed with the quality of submitted in the contest. Mr. Liljenquist, son of Ezra and Mary Wilcox Liljenquist, who lives at 45 South 7th East in Salt Lake City, is studying for a 'Ph. D. degree in the field of dramatics at the University of Utah. He was born in Rexburg, Idaho twenty five years ago.
