DAVIS COUNTY commissioners said they would consider the plan but saw no need to change the legal services being offered by Val Roberts and Scott Holt who operated on a $28,000 budget to give low income legal services to those referred to them by county agencies. The bulk of the funding was supplied through Title 20 of the Social Security Act, with the county picking up $6,250 in costs. RICHARD Nelson, Social Services Coordinator, told the commission on Tuesday that Utah Legal Services had proposed the establishment of an office in the county. Since they are funded by an act of Congress, they would contribute $25,000 and the Davis County Title 20 would be required to pay $25,000 to run the office, which would include the $6,000 contribution from the county. According to Commissioner Wendell Zaugg, the liaison person with the social services board, the Legal Services Agency plans to come into the county with these services anyway, but would maintain their office in Salt Lake City and Weber counties if the contract is not approved. BOTH THE Title 20 Council and the Coordinating Council of Health and Social Services favored contracting with the Legal Services, Mr. Nelson said. COMMISSIONER received no C.
