There are three other children at home. The grandparents are Mrs. Ada Williams, Bear River City and Mrs. Korma Korth of Brigham City. Boasting over the arrival of a son are Mr. and Mrs. Emer K. Winward of 570 East 100 North, Kaysville. The 7 lbs. 13 oz. lad arrived at the McKay-De- e Hospital on June 5, and is being welcomed home by three brothers and one sister. Mrs. Winward is the former Kar- ma Hatch of Burley, Idaho. The grandparents include Mr. and Mrs. Elton Hatch and Mrs. Emma Winward all of Burley, Idaho. The full sleeves were gathered at the wrists accented with deep cuffs of hand cut lace. A wide border of lace edged the hemline of the skirt. GAILEYS wife, Julia and their daughter Mrs. Alice Telford took him to the Pioneer Village at Lagoon Resort where he enjoyed a four-hotour and visit of the village. The following day he was honored at a surprise family party at his home hosted by his grandchildren, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Alder and children Bryce and Melissa and Mrs. Kenneth Statts and children Debra and Dena all of Salt Lake City. He raised beef cattle as well as cared for dairy herds. He was instrumental with two other Kaysville men in organizing the Davis Farm CoOp and gas station. He served as president over the organization for many years. He has served in various civic capacities as well. HE HAS always been an active member of the LDS Church. He served on two LDS missions, the first was in Germany where he had the privilege of baptizing the famous Alexander Schreiner as a member of the church prominent er and they have been very close friends ever since. He and his wife later served a mission to the greetings from the President of the United States, Jimmy Carter, which pleased him and added to the special event, along with the many other cards and calls he received from his many friends and relatives. Mr. Gailey was bom June 7, 1888 in Kaysville, a son of John W. and Elizabeth Ed- Northwestern States Mission. HE IS remembered fondly as Bishop Gailey by many in the area, he being the first bishop over the Kaysville Second LDS Ward, when the ward was organized and the Rock Chapel built to house the ward. The chapel was built from monds Gailey. spearheaded the project, this was during World War II. He served in this position ten years. Previous to that time he served seven years as counselor in the Kaysville First LDS Ward with the late Bishop H.C. Burton. He has held many positions in the church during his lifetime. AFTER graduation from Kaysville Elementary School, there being no high school at that time, he attended the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He is the oldest member of the Gailey family. He has pride in Kaysvilles community and has witnessed the tremendous growth and changes over the many years. FARMING WAS his oc- - native rock and president.
