George-L- . Morgan III, 4754th Radar Evaluation Squadron, Career Noncommissioned Officer; Sgt. Michael Espiritu, 2849th Air Base Group, First-TerNoncommissioned Officer; and A 1C William K. George, Outstanding Airman. Morgan was cited for his work as a radar evaluation technician while George was honored for his duties as a civil work engineer sc heduler. ESPIRITU IS a son of Mr. and Mrs. Meliton Espiritu of Ogden. He graduated from Ogden High School in 1972 and entered the Air Force in July 1974. BLODGETT When a cheer goes up for Weber State College next fall, it may sound familiar to Davis County residents. THE REASON: five of the ten varsity cheerleaders will be alumni of Layton and Davis high schools. Two gals from Layton High and three guys from Davis High will be among the throng of cheerleaders at the all colleges athletic events of whom are experienced yell leaders. FOR EXAMPLE, Vicki a Black is returning cheerleader while Vicki ' a former is Boggs cheerleader and last year was named "Cool Cat at Weber State. The previous two years she was a WSC mascot. All of the guys Brooks Gibbs, Kelly Nelson and Brett were Tallymen Smith (male cheerleaders) at Davis High. Brooks and Kelly are seniors at Davis High while Brett is a sophomore at Weber State. Steel who have been serving as alternate members of the high council were sustained on Sunday, May 28 it was announced by Stake President Newell Law.
