He was raised in St. Charles, Ida. and lived in Clearfield for 10 years. He and his family moved to East Layton In 1954 HE attended Utah State University. Mr. Wilhelmsen was a member of the Layton 22nd LDS Ward. He had served a mission In the Layton Utah East Stake. He had been active in MIA, Sunday School and the ward choir. HE SERVED in the U S. Navy during world war II. Surviving are his widow of East Layton; one son and three daughters, W. Grover Wilhelmsen, Ogden; Mrs. Jerry (Geniel) Montgomery. Granger; Mrs. Don (Linda Lee) Perry, Lakewood. Colo.; Mrs. Darrel (Colleen) Watt, Orem; 18 grandchildren.
