Show Ben Lomond Beacon. April 24, Carnival slated Everyone is invited to the Green Acres Elementary School Carnival on Friday, April 25, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the school. The carnival is sponsored by the Green Acres PTA under the direction of Phyllis Shaw and Laura Tanner. It will feature food, games and fun, with two quilts to be raffled. The menu includes potato chips, drinks, hot scones and popsicles. bar-b-que- s, at school Baked goods will also be the challenge course for the Mrs. Shaw playground, said. She explained that the PTA has been working to develop the playground since the school opened. The PTA officers for this year are Ann Stevenson, sold. The PTA will have a Moon Walk outsidethe school, and booths with games, prizes, and movies inside. The quilts for the raffle were made by the children in Mrs. Hales' classes.
