To cool you down on those hot, Indian-Summ- er days, here are some refreshing and easy fruit slush recipes. BACK ROW LEFT TO RIGHT. Strawberry Slush 1 pint strawberries, chopped or sliced two thirds cup water 'i cup sugar '4 cup lemon juice 4 cup pineapple juice. Combine in 8x8 dish or pan and freeze 4 to 6 hours. Break up with fork. Keep in freezer until ready to serve. Then spoon into glasses and add CHILLED Sprite to fill the glasses. Makes about 4 tall glasses of slush. Pineapple-grapefru- slush it may be served in sherbert dishes as an appetizer for a special dinner. To-- prepare grapefruit segments, using sharp knife slice off end of rind on grapefruit down to the fruit, then cut a spiral strip around and around till the rind is gone and the fruit is exposed. Slip the knife between the, fruit and membrane, twist and turn back out to release the segment; repeating for each segment. Cut into smaller pieces, using all the juice. She lived here for 14 years. The Rogers now live in Plain City. Barbara is the daughter of Lew and Ladine Thomas. She graduated from Weber the city. Barbara says that she enjoys sewing, cooking and hair dressing in her spare time. She also likes to golf and camp with her husband. She says they are looking forward to skiing together.
