Mrs. Ranstrom was born April 1, 1918, in Wapello, Idaho, a daughter of Arthur and Ester Malm Scott. She was married to Calvin L. Ranstrom on Sept. 30, 1936, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She had formerly worked for the W.S. Butler Co. and the Internal Revenue Service. She was a member of the North Ogden 8th LDS Ward and had served as Primary and MIA president in the North Ogden 10th Ward. She had been Relief Society secretary and stake mission secretary in the Ben Lomond Stake. She came to Ogden from Pocatello in 1939. Surviving are her husband of North Ogden ; one son and two daughters, Richard C. Ranstrom, Rockford, 111. Mrs. Wayne J. (Irene) Barnes, Bountiful; Mrs. Stephen (Janet) Jorgensen, North Ogden; 12 grandchildren. Also surviving are her mother, Mrs Ester Seamons, one Blackfoot, Idaho; brother and three sisters, LeRoy Idaho; Scott, Pingree, Mrs. Francis (Phyllis) Lawrence, Black-foo- t, Idaho; Mrs Mell Roy (Evelyn Peterson, Cerritos, Calif. Mrs. Albert (Ennid) Breiter, Idaho Falls, Idaho. Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. in the North Ogden 8th Ward Chapel, with Bishop Hale Buchanan officiating. Interment in the North Ogden Cemetery. Karen Manning NORTH OGDEN Mrs. of 667 E. 1750 N., died Thursday, Jan. 18, 1979,' at the McKay-De- e Hospital of complications of surgery. Mrs. Manning was born Jan. 7, 1953, in Ogden, a daughter of David Mark and Lois Johnston Manning. She was married to Keith Howard Manning on Nov. 30 1972, in the Ogden LDS Temple. She was a member of the Karen Manning, 26 North Ogden 10th LDS Ward and had been ward orgainist, MIA teacher, choir director and junior Sunday School chorister. She was a graduate of Weber High School and had attended Brigham Young University.
