Nov. 15th is the 2nd i Annual Choral, Poetry and Arts Festival presented by the LDS Single Adults of Weber, Davis and Morgan home just full of enthusiasm and ideas. Call me or drop me a note telling about your holiday plans and share them with Beacon readers Its a lot of fun to read about what others are up to, isnt it? I dont want folks to start ducking into alleys when they see me comming so they wont get written about Violet and Howard Cottrell w Counties. This Thanksgiving Season presentation is at the Ogden LDS Tabernacle with no admission costs. The theme is The Pursuit of Excellence. Original art in the form of painting, pottery and sculpture will be on display at the show opening at 5:30 p.m. Choral and poetry presentation will begin at 7:30 p.m. One of the choral selections, Psalm 25, is an original work composed specifically for the festival and the Single Adult Chorus. This was created by Wilford Young a well known Weber County misician. Original poetry written by Young Special Interests and Special Interests will be read and published in booklet form. Three soloists will be featured during the concert, Robin Miller with a flute solo Bonnie Merrill, piano solo and Lowell Marriott Harrop will play a pipe organ solo. The Chorus is composed of single adults 26 years and oiler from Morgan, Davis and Weber Counties. are celebrating Thanksgiving early this year.
