Chun King frozen chicken chow mein entree leftover turkey I Vi cups bite-si- e cups fresh, frozen or drained canned corn l'i 1 tablespoon butter or margarine Chun King chow mein noodles 2 strips crisp fried bacon, crumbled (optional) Prepare chow mein following package directions; open pouch and pour into a mixing bowl. Add turkey and corn; mix well. Pour into a buttered baking dish. Dot with butter or margarine. Sprinkle with chow mein noodles, cover dish and bake in a preheated 350 degree oven 35 to 40 minutes or until bubbly hot. Remove from oven and sprinkle w ith crumbled bacon, if desired. Makes 6 servings. SHRIMP-FILLECREPES NEW BLRG 6 crepes Filling: 1(12 oz.) Chun K ing frozen shrimp chow mein entree 1 jar (2V oz.) sliced mushrooms, drained 2 tablespoons Chun King soy sauce 2 teaspoons cornstarch Sauce: I tablespoon butter or margarine 1 tablespoon flour 1 cup half and half 2 egg yolks, slightly beaten 3 tablespoons sherry Paprika (optional) l'$-qua- rt 4-- D For filling: Remove entree from package and run warm tap water over the pouch. Cut pouch and put frozen block into a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir occasionally to thaw and heat. W'hen shrimp chow mein is heated, add mushrooms, and the soy sauce and cornstarch mixed together. Heat, stirring, until shrimp mixture thickens. Allow to cool. For sauce: Melt the butter or margarine in a double boiler. Stir in flour; then half and half. Cook, stirring until thickened. Cover and let stand over very low heat. Fill crepes with equal amounts of shrimp warmed. filling and roll. Place on platter and heat under broiler until add to and combine serve yolks sherry; egg When ready to crepes, cream sauce, stirring until smooth and thickened. Serve over filled crepes. Sprinkle with paprika, if desired. Makes 6 filled crepes with sauce. According to Sec. 37 of Mt.
