Becki is a fifteen year old Super-Sta- r from Roy, Utah and has qualified for the International Meet this October in Bulgaria. Because she is an amateur, Becki and her coach, Mike Dennison, msut pay their own travel expenses, and they need help. Jnior Olympics and the 980 World Olympics to be held in Russia. Conrad Monson, M D., an and obstetrician gynecologist associated with the Ogden Clinic, has been installed as chief of the medical and dental staff of St. Benedicts Hospital. He succeeds L. Garr Merrill, M.D., who serves as chief at St. anesthesiologist Benedicts. Dr. Monson assumed duties following the recent annual meeting of the staff, at which Gordon N. Dr. Monson was born and raised in Salt Lake City, where he received his bachelor of arts degree from the University of Utah and his doctor of medicine degree from the University of Uta College of Medicine. a one-yea- r He rtook in general and residency industrial surgery at the Missouri Pacific Hospital, St. Louis, MO, in association with Washington University Medical School, also in St. Louis. He took a three-yea- r residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Utah College of Medicine, serving one year as chief resident, and at the Thomas D. Dee Memorial Hospital in Ogden. This period in h exeluded a change fellowship at the University of Minnesota Hospitals, Minneapolis, MN, elude the Weber County Medical Society, which he as served the Ogden Surgical Society, Utah Medical Society and the formerly treasurer, American gynecological malignancy. Dr. Monson is a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a member and former secretary of the Utah and Obstetrical Gynecological Society. He has been a member of St. Benedicts staff since beginning practice in Ogden and has served two three-yea- r terms as head of the department of obstetrics and gynecology.
