A dozen local writers met in their home to read their latest works and receive critique from each other. THE SUPER SOUL STRUTTERS An added feature of the meeting was a tour of the Soc wells newly redecorated kitchen. It is beautiful! The North Ogden First Wards loss is the fifth wards gain. Lon and Sandy Jensen and their kids, Kim Kori, J.C., Kanice and Katrina, have moved. The Jensens are a terrific, close-kni- t family. Everyone of them are charming, witty and creative. They really seem to enjoy each other's which is company, something the world needs more of. The Arts in Action Fairs held at the North Ogden Jr. Weber High High and schools were thrilling. A huge crowd of both students and parents turned out to see the numerous artisans at work and visit the beautiful displays of professional and student Twelve art. elementary school square and dancing groups seventeen elementary choirs were featured at the districtwide festival held at Weber High. The choirs joined in a grand finale, where they joined hands and circled the audience while they sang. It was really goose bumpy! One of the groups featured at the Junior High fair was Nephi Mannings Old Time Fiddlers. They played lively music which had a large audience tapping their toes much of the time. Brent whose Hales, family comprise a good share of the band, says they have a lot of fun playing together, in the tend and as a family.
