Leanna Silvester, coordinator, of the Weber State Speakers Bureau said that there are, approximately 125 faculty and staff that can speak to over 100 different topics ranging from Central American foreign policy to powder puff mechanics. She said that many clubs, civic organizations and churches have used the Speakers Bureau at the college to arrange for speakers, but added that the college would like to provide more. The service is provided at no charge and those faculty and professional staff members on the Speakers Bureau list have requested placement on that list. The bricks may look ordinary, but each one becomes special after it is purchased. For $10, the buyer is entitled to a brick with a metal plate that bears his name or any specified name. The Buy a Brick program gives people who have worked at Hill and who work there now, an opportunity to be visibly part of the heritage of this base, said Russ Sneddon, director of the heritage program. Sneddon and his staff are primarily responsible for planning construction of the museum. Hopefully, the brick idea will to get people and be a spin-of- f businesses involved in helping build the museum, said Sneddon. He said donations of items related to Hills history, as well as financial support, are welcome. The museum represents ef-forts at all seven Air Force logistics command bases to preserve Air Force history.
