The delegates adopted a resolution pledging support to the American Labor party because it has advanced the interests of labor and has nominated and elected to public office candidates who are the true friends of labor, disregarding . party labels. The resolution also said that the true spirit of the A. F. L. is to advance the interests of working men and women in every possible way, and pointed out that the American Labor party is the only political party in New York state which is wholeheartedly seeking to promote labors interestscon-in the political field and has sistently supported the New Deal.
