Paiz Sr., age 64, died Aug. 15, 1995 of causes incident to diabetes at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. He was bom March 11, 1931 in Hiawatha, the son of Aurelio and Margaret Chicon Paiz. He married Maxine Pacheco on Sept. 10, 1955 at Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church. She died Oct. r.:? 12, 1991. He was a member of the Catholic Church and a longtime resident of Helper. He worked for the D&RG Railroad until 1963, when he was involved in an industrial accident resulting in his retirement. He is survived by two sons, two daughters and their spouses, Julian and Erin Paiz, South Jor - CHS. Beverly Butler PRICE Beverly Christiansen Butler, age 66, died Aug. 14, 1995 in York, Neb. She was bom May 18, 1929 in Santaquin, the daughter of Athol Clifford and Gladys Maude Hedenberg Christiansen. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-daSaints and a longtime resident of Carbon County. She graduated from Carbon High School and attended Carbon College. She graduated from St. Benedicts College of Nursing, Ogden, and practiced as a registered nurse at Carbon Hospital and Parkdale Nursing Home for many years. Also survived by eight grandchildren; two brothers, two sisters and their spouses, Henry C. and Shirlean Paiz, Loomis, Calif.; David L. and Lola Keck, Sacramento, Calif., Tony Paiz, Sacramento, Calif.; Tillie Lucero, Tucumcari, N.M.; a and her spouse, Danny and Pat Paiz. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Maxine; his parents; brother, Danny; and sister, Albina. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, Aug. 19, 10 a.m., a St. Anthony Catholic Church.
