The trout were 0 inches when stocked and will create an instant fishing opportunity for area anglers. The section of the Price River was recently reclaimed by the residents of Helper City. Trash by the truck-loa- d was removed, grass and trees were planted, and a path was paved along the stream. What was once an eyesore, is not a nice place to go walk the dog, play volleyball or horseshoes, have a picnic, and go fishing. The addition of rock structures to the stream was implemented in 1994. This winter 15 more students were added to the section of the Price River running through the parkway. These structures should provide much needed fish Upcoming tournaments Men's middle July 26,31,Aug. 2 Men's upper July 27, Aug. 3 Men's lower July 31, Aug. 1, 2 Women's upper Aug. 1, 2, 8 Women's lower Aug. 1, 2, 8 International Days Tournament Aug. 4, 5 J) 12-poun- habitat, especially when the water from Scoin the fall. field is shut-of- f Trout were the missing component of the fishing puzzle. The success of the stocking is measured by the success of the fishing in the parkway if the fish arent held in the area by the structures, or if no anglers fish the area. The stocking was planned to most benefit young and less mobile anglers in the Price-Helparea. A creel survey by the DWR is planned to evaluate fishing pressure and harvest. America In tures by fish.
