A new visualization is planned for the pageant this year. New sets are being produced at the LDS Motion Picture Studios in Provo. The directing team has been working since December on blocking for the pageant. All scenes in the pageant have been carefully considered and revised movements have been developed for many sequences. Brother Peterson would like to invite all interested members ofthe community to audition of the Pageant. He explained, We need all of those who have worked with the pageant in the past, and all of those would like to join us. At the present time, I have no idea who will play any of the roles. 1 wont know until after the aud itions are complete. The new visualization will require a few new parts to be filled. At the present time all roles are open. Casting will be by open auditions. Auditions and sign-up- s for the Mormon Miracle Pageant will be held on May 27 and 28 starting with information at 6 p.m. in the Manti Stake Center, 295 South Main Street, Manti. Those interested in group scenes can sign up between 7 and 9 p.m. each night. Those interested in speaking roles must audition. All those auditioning must be at the stake center no later that 8 p.m. Auditions will run as long as needed for those interested. This space is always the last thing written, therefore, I am going to tell you about our contest instead of complaining about U.S. Tax Freedom Day, which was May 10th. We always print extra copies for area travel and information booths and advertisers. This year we want your help. We want to fill the issue with interesting photos from fun family vacations. But we are so busy running this newspaper, we rarely get out of the office. So we are having a photo contest. We want your Utah vacation photos thatmay highlight fun things you have done in Utah.
