Arta Sudweeks Higgins rt GUNNISON Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Arta Sudweeks Higgins, age 75, passed away Saturday, May 2, 1998, in Provo, Utah. She was bom in Kingston, Utah, on July 17, 1922, to William Clinton and Leora Estella Blood Sudweeks. Arta enjoyed gi owing up in Kingston, Utah, and had many fond memories of this beautiful small community. She attended school in Junction and graduated from Circleville High School. Arta was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and officer for the Senior Citizens Center, member and officer of the Literary 1 2 Club. Arta enjoyed fishing, cooking, quilting beautiful quilts, and especially doing things with her family. Arta is survived by her husband, Morris, Gunnison; two sons, Steven (Arleen) Higgins, Gunnison and Stanley (Kathy) Higgins, Gunnison; seven grandchildren and two She is preceded in death by her parents, William Clinton and Leora Estella Blood Sudweeks; and sister.
