The affair will be in charge of Ralph Hubbard, who is a son of the famous writer, Elbert Hubbard. The Paradise Dramatic company is Kathleen rehearsing for a drama, Mavourneen, an Irish comedy-dramwhich they expect to present about February 9. The Paradise M men were defeated Tuesday evening in a basket ball game with Millville. The score was 7 to 14. The M men have just organized but we hope by the next game they will have had more practice. We are glad to hear that Ronald, the little son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. T. James, is improving after being very ill. The many friends of Elder Henry Norman are glad to know his health is improving and he will soon be able to resume his labor in the Western States mission. The bishopric is busy preparing for ward conference to be held January 31. i Miss Thelda Bradley of Hyrum has been spending a few days in town visiting friends and relatives. Joseph K. The local directors are meeting in the stake office today with the county agents to outline the various projects for the seasons work. Particular attention will be given to encouraging crops that will help to foster the canning industry in our community. The Farm Bureau officers are ready and anxious to cooperate with the Citizens club and the newly elected canning factory officials to the end that we may soon realize our ambitions in this regard.
