Allen were happy to go to Sa t Lake City on and welcome Tuesday home their son Ned Allen. Ned was inducted in the army on September 3, 1943 and has served overseas for more than two years with the 32nd Infantry Division at New Guinea,' Leyte Luzon and finally Japan. His division has the record for more combat than anyy other in the entire army. He was in combat every day but four in fourteen consecutive months. He has come home, however, with out a scratch. He received his discharge from Fort Douglas and is undecided about his future.
