Liljcnquist, in whose honor the first Liljenquist Family Re- union was held, With Mrs. Merrill Baxter in Recharge of arrangements, the reuni n was h Id in the Hyrum Third ward chapel where a large group gathered to renew tl'quaintwncesr and enjoy the day. The nations colors were used about the recreation hall and also adorned the dining tables which were centered with artistically arranged floral decorations. A large portrait of O. N. Liljenquist, owned by Mrs. C. C. Wendleboe of Logan was displayed forming a distinctive autobiobackground for his graphy given during the day. A program conducted by Mrs Ray Liljenquist followed dinner and consisted of an autobiography of 'O. N. Liljenquist; given by Ezra Liljenquist of Layton. Early memories of O. N. Liljenquist given his by daughter in law, Mrs. Emma Liljenquist yrho also read a tribute written by her daughter, Mrs. Clara Needham and Mrs. Trilby Rosza of Los Angeles in appreciation of the life of their grandfather. Bishop DON J -- DEAN ALLEN BETTER Mr. Dion Allen has returned to his home in Hyrum following a week spent at Oceanside California with his son, Dean, who is hospitalized at the Naval hospital there. Dean was wounded when a Jap suicide plane struck his ship and killed 52 men beside wounding 70. Mr. Allen stated that his son is improving and expects to have his cast removed about the 15th of this month, at which time he may be able to come home on convhlescsnt They stated that home is a institution.
