Show Serving Paradise, Hyrum, THIRTY YEAR $2.00 per year RITES with A house filled sympathizing relatives and friends met at I .he Second ward meeting hoj-- e on Satmday at 2 p. m. to pay respects to Deloy Sorenson who was killed in an ciash near the Logan air-pe-rt on July 24- Deloy is the 17 year old son cf Mr. and My:. Alonzo Sorensen of Hyrum. .The services were in charge of Counselor Dlaine Nielsen. The ward choir was under the leadership of Chorister A. J. Petersen and accompanied on the organ and piano by Mrs. Alta Petersen and Mrs- - Vinnie Clawson sang three appropriate numbers, Hear Our Prayer. Secret and Invocation. Prayer Prayers were given by A. J. Petersen and Garnel Larsen. Speakers who comforted the bereaved parents were President Edwin Clawson, S. A- Dunn, Leo C. Nielsen and Alban T. Clawson, They said it is hard to understand these mysteries, when we must liagedies come, but have faith in God to help us understand and also to bring strength in times of sorrow like this. Deloy had always beer, a fine boy. He had lived a good life and was ready to meet his Maker., He hi'i a desire to learn to fly, to do woithwhi'e things in life things in life and to keep up with the times. He was leaving this week to' join the Merchant Marine to do his part in this worlds conflict. They prayed for Gods comforting influence to be with the parents and friends of this fine son.
