Mr. Johnson hasjaeen noted during the majon part of his life as a community builder, being identified with all the progressive movements in Hyrum. He is hale and hearty at the age of 80. and possesses a most remarkable memory of early day incidents when this community had its early beginning. He distinctly recalls many of the tribulations as well as the most enjoyable events that happened 65 to 70 years ago. One of the outstanding incident' of church service that happened 50 years ago in the life of Mr. Johnson was to serve on the first Old Folks Com mittee that was organized under the orginal Hvrum Ward. Only one other member of that orginal committee survives Mrs. Christina Larsen. Membership on Old Fek Committees from those" days bn has been a distinctive .function in Hvrum, largely due to the spirit and enthusiam injected into this work by the original committee. , Meetine of the Cynthia Benson DUP will be held at the home of Mrs .
