A number of these delinquents have not made a payment, on account, during the past year. The condition is a serious one. It is easy to see that our city cannot operate under this coudition, which grows worse each month, The mayor and city council have de cided on a plan, which is explained in a circular letter, appearing below. Every user, of water and light, from the city systems will receive a copy of this letter, regardless of the condition of his account. This will acquaint all with the policy of the city officers. We feel that the citizens will see the necessity of this action, and assist us to keep our city on a sound business basis. All we ask, at present, is that you pay current accounts when due. The old delinquent accounts must be taken up by July 1, 1932. If accounts are not paid, lights must be turned off.
