Horse pulling contest at.. 10:30 A. M. for all teams, weighing. 3000 lbs. or under. The dynamometer will be used., for the contest. To qualify, a team must pull a truck with the dynamometer 27'2 feet- - The prizes for the winning teams will be $25.00 for first. for $15.00 for seednd,.. and . $10.00 third. ..The contest will take place at the Race Track. 4.4. ..Musical program in front of Exhibition Building, 1 P. Cy's and Sunshines Novelty Circus will perform between the heats of the races in front of the grandstand. They have a trained high school Cy hotfse, dogs, mules and goats. and Sunshine as rubes and their I mule named January are screames. They peiform all the time during the program wherever there is an opportunity. You will be well entertained by Cy and Sunshine. The audiance will also be entertained by two noted French dancers, Jean and Jaqueline. They will give several numbers in beautiful costumes during the afternoon program each day of the fair. A new bucking corral has been constructed. There will be wild outlaw horses, mules and steers ridden between the heats of the races. The Logan High School Band will give musical selections, including some vocal numbers. The Public address System, or loud speaker serviqe, will be installed so all spectators can. hear the announcements. Special musical selections Will also come over the loud speaker service. The Evening Entertainment. There will be an attractive midway with a large variety of concessions wheel with Gardners gaint ferri and Also an athle-t'- c show and other features. Mr. Gilbert Thatcher of Ogden will act as judge for the cattle. Dean K. C. Ikeler of the Utah State Agricultural College will act as judge for the horses and strep. Prof. Henry K. Sm th will judge the swine. Prof. Byron Alaer, also of the Agricultural College, will judge the poultry- one hundred head Approximately of pure bred Holstein, Jersey1 and Guernseys from the valley will be on exhibition. Tiie competition in every class should be exceptionally keen and all dairymen in particular should be pesent for the judg'ng and see the exhibits and hear the decision. Mr. Thatcher always gives explanations and leasons for his decisions. The same to applies other judges and people interested in these particular departments, aie urged to be present. As far as possible the cattle will be judged in the new Livestock Building Judging where the spectators will have comfortable seats and be able to see and hpar. It is expectd that Woozley and Sons and other exhibitors will be present with some of the best Duroc pigs and pure bred sheep in the country. 3. The milk contest w 11 start Wednesday morn'ng. This is a performance test and will close Thursday evening, the third day of the Fair. Lactation, butterfat, and quantity will be considered. The lactation will be based over a period of s'x months. Commencing January 1, 1929. Special cash prizes offered by the Borden Condensed Milk Company and the Sego Milk Products Company will be given to the winners. All dairymen are urged to watch this contest. 4. Musical program, Logan High School Band, 1 P. M. Harness and running races and aternoon program will commence at 2 P. M. at the race course.
