A proposition was presented by the Committee for the grading and graveling of three cross roads in the north mile field. One of these roads, be will taken north of the ice house, care of immediately. The matter of the Blacksmith Fork Canyon Road, was discussed and a different plan was suggested for the maintainance of that road. The committee suggested that the large county grader go over the road in the early spring, and grading widening the in places where nesserary, and then for the Commissioners to employ a competent man and team, to work on the road for 4 or 5 months during the spring and summer. This can be done at less expense than the methods used in the past. The Commissioners were favorable to the proposition. The committee feel certain that the ranch owners in the canyon will be more satisfied with this way of handling and caring for the canyon road. All the numbers received generous applause, and it would be difficult and unjust 'to attempt to single out any one number as the best. It was all so good and pleasing, and will be stamped as , the best school entertainment rendered in Hyrum for many years. congratulutions are due to the principal and teachers for their splendid efforts, and to the students for their deep' interest displayed in rendering their parts. It was an excellent idea to stage the affair in Hyrum First y Ward Hall, which is the best Recreation Hall in Hyrum, from the High school Auditto-da- orium. The comfortable seats, the heating and ventilation, the color effects of the interior, and the spacious stage, all added to the pleasure and aided in a more perfect presentation.
